Technology is inevitably pushing us closer and closer to working with robotic coworkers. How this transition from an all human workforce to a blend of people and machines will proceed is unclear. It is also unclear what impact robotic workers will have in a variety of professions, and many humans are understandably concerned.

If you have been reading some of the articles and predictions around artificial intelligence, or AI, I am sure you are feeling that sense of uncertainty. Are you perhaps wondering what the next step will be for your own job, especially if your profession is on the list of jobs expected to disappear? Have you experienced anxiety or even fear about what the future may hold?

Almost every change that humanity has gone through in history has likely produced fear and anxiety. Big-scale changes such as the Industrial Revolution required a period of adjustment. After a while, things did settle down, and a new sun did rise. The growth mindset was firmly in effect when people were willing to grow and develop and set aside their innate fear of change.

A.I. Still Cannot Compare With Human Ingenuity

Most experts seem to agree on one particular point regarding changes in the workplace. Jobs that require creative thinking and innovative capabilities are here to stay, and these jobs will continue to grow. Artificial intelligence cannot yet compare to the creativity and innovation that humanity has to offer.

According to the World Economic Forum, creativity is in the top 3 skills needed for success in 2020:

It is imperative that we start preparing ourselves for the future immediately. Learning to
deal with complexity, being creative, and solving problems or situations that we haven’t encountered before requires brain power and self-knowledge.

Understanding how to optimise brain function, recognising what we can and cannot do, and realising when we need help are crucial in developing the top skills of the future. It is particularly important for those in leadership positions to create environments that support the development of these skills.

In my view, making a list of skills in itself is not sufficient. We also need to ensure that these skills are valued and understand how we can transition from current thinking to the new ideas of the future. At the About my Brain Institute, we are working to create a cutting-edge learning offering dedicated to preparing the generations of tomorrow.

Reduce Stress, Increase Happiness, And Remain Productive

We are excited to announce that we have recently launched the the i4 Neuroleader Online Course. This program is aimed to help you develop as a person, improve your ability to think holistically and teach you to reduce stress while remaining productive.

In a world that presents constant challenges, understanding how to keep our heads above water has become more important than ever. The ‘sink or swim’ mentality doesn’t need to apply when you have a brain-based & well-tested alternative available.

Leaders interested in the topic of brain-based leadership will now be able to access fantastic and cost-effective programs to develop their own personal leadership. This process is critical if we want to remain ahead of the curve.

Our multidisciplinary team of expert presenters will share their wisdom and give you an opportunity to assess yourself against the competencies of performance, collaboration, innovation, and agility. You will also learn the strategies to lead more effectively and creatively.

If you would like to unlock your full potential as a leader, take a look at our i4 Neuroleader™ Platform. And for those who want to train or teach others, the i4 Neuroleader™ Certification, with its incredible suite of resources, is available to complete fully online.
